Registered Dental Hygienist

West Des Moines Dental Center is seeking a self-motivated professional Registered Dental Hygienist in our, West Des Moines, IA dental office. This person must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and demonstrate exceptional communication and people skills.  Candidates must have a Registered State of IA Hygiene License, State of IA Local Anesthesia Certification, and be CPR certified.  Ideal candidates would have knowledge of the Eaglesoft dental software and have at least one year of experience in the dental industry.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

This is a part-time position working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients
  • Diagnose treatment and update x-rays
  • Complete patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection
  • Be detailed oriented to accurately chart dental caries, pre-existing restoration, and perio
  • Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygiene procedures

Registered Dental Assistant

West Des Moines Dental Center is seeking a self-motivated professional Registered Dental Assistant in our, West Des Moines, IA dental office. This person must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and demonstrate exceptional communication and people skills. Our ideal candidates must be comfortable working with EagleSoft dental software and have Expended Functions certificate or have a desire to work toward obtaining one.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

This is a full time position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment
  • Assist the dentist chair side
  • Sterilize and prepare instruments
  • Update patient charts
  • Schedule, follow-up, and confirm with patient on appointments, treatments, treatment planning, estimates and payment
  • Lab work and equipment maintenance
